The International Powdery Mildew Project is a collaborative effort to inventory and study the world's
Erysiphales (powdery mildew fungi) and the plant diseases they cause.
This website includes a section for Project member collaboration, and an online database that
can be used to identify species of powdery mildew fungi. Database searches can use a variety of
information to aid identifications, including morphological features, host ranges, geographical
ranges, and BLAST searches using DNA sequences. Search results include summaries of species
characteristics, as well as links to online references. New information is added continually.
